Today, our Triton is a beautiful traditional wooden motorsailer (called a karavoskaro in Greek) that’s just waiting to carry you across shimmering Greek seas to breathtaking beaches and hidden coves inaccessible by road. A 16.5m gaff-rigged wooden vessel, the M/S Triton was built in 1987 in the famous Psarros Shipyard and then fully renovated in 2014 to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Ideal for families or small groups of friends, this elegant yacht boasts a two-person crew − an experienced skipper and a gracious hostess − who offer their guests unforgettable trips on the magical Aegean sea. Discover the divine side of travel aboard the M/S Triton and treat yourself to the understated luxury that this unique traditional boat offers.
According to Greek mythology, Triton was the son of Poseidon, god of the seas. Most often depicted as a merman complete with the tail of a fish, Triton was said to reside with scores of mermaids in dreamy palaces deep below the water’s surface.
Enjoy a magical day on board the M/S Triton as you sunbathe, go diving, or put on a mask and snorkel. Visit secluded coves and enjoy the crystal waters along the shore of the Athens Riviera and around the island of Kea, the closest of the Cyclades group. Your captain and your hostess will prepare a delightful lunch using local produce and following traditional Greek, all accompanied by fine Greek wine, carefully chosen to pair with the dishes.
